He was born in 1958. He lives in Tuscany in a small town among the famous hills. He began to photograph in the 70s; first the landscape and then the animals of the wild environments of the world. Through the camera he sees and reveals Nature as a testimony of the supreme art of creation that is a source of teaching for a primary education.

His photographs have been published in National Geographic, OASIS, BBCwildlife, ASFERICO and other well-known Italian and international magazines. Author of books, exhibitions and other photographic works in collaboration with, mostly, the important National Parks in the world. In 2013 he was awarded as the Wildlife Photographer of the Year at the Natural History Museum in London. He was ITALY Liaison Officer of FIAP from 2014 till 2017.

Attimi, Luci, Colori is usually the title he uses for various photographic activities (exhibition and slideshow). He has long been an expert guide for nature photography adventures.
